South Florida Haiti Project

Ste. Marie Madeleine Bondeau

Ste. Marie Madeleine is a parish in the Diocese of Haiti.  Starting with a one room rented facility as a school, the school has grown into an owned building serving grades pre-school through grade 6.  This project provides the sole support to this school parish and the community at Bondeau Haiti.  In addition to the school, a program to provide one cooked meal a day is provided to the students and staff.  Teaching programs include classes for adults to learn sewing and other skills to develop opportunities to achieve sustainability for the community.  The school and adult training are supported by the project to build a sustainable Bondeau Haiti.  Bondeau is West of Port au Prince on the long peninsula at the botton of the map on the North side about a three hour drive from PaP.

With your support, children at Bondeau Haiti gain a early start on a difficult life and a sustainable community can be built at Bondeau.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.  With 80 percent unemployed and 70 percent undernourished, Change starts with early education.  These children at Bondeau need support to gain early education.
